The Act would enforce Oregon's existing limits on climate pollution with a firm timeline for putting a comprehensive action plan in place to guarantee Oregon achieves its climate goals. The Clean Green Lobby Machine painted the Capitol green on Tuesday!

What happens when a piece of coal and a wind farmer play tug-of-war? At the feet of the Capitol’s tall granite walls, solar panels and wind turbines challenged Big Coal to a game of tug-o-war. Oregon Youth Face Transportation Barriers Yellow school buses get students to and from school, but they do not help students access broader opportunities that foster success in life. Some students can’t participate in sports or other after-school activities, such as tutoring, because they don’t have a way home. For some kids, an after-school job is a necessity, and transit access helps them contribute to their family’s income. Other youth can’t access essential social services that contribute to their health and stability. And due to limited transportation options, some students are chronically late or absent, fall behind, and simply drop ...
