In Oregon, we're proving ideas that are good for all can defeat money and power in the halls of government. In February 2015, the Oregon Legislature overcame a $2 million opposition campaign by Big Oil and implemented the Clean Fuels Program for the good of the people it serves.
State legislators stood up for providing Oregonians with cleaner fuel choices, keeping energy dollars in the state to create jobs and economic opportunities – all while safeguarding clean air and reducing climate pollution.
