About Reann

Reann (she/her) joined the Oregon Environmental Council for the summer as the Policy Program Intern, where she supports research and policy initiatives that advance environmental advocacy across Oregon. A lifelong Oregonian, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from the University of Oregon, with a professional concentration in Gender, Race, & Inequality and a geographic focus on Southeast and East Asia. She also completed minors in Spanish and Korean.

While her academic background is rooted in international studies, Reann is excited to apply her skills to meaningful environmental work in her home state. She is passionate about the nonprofit sector and is committed to advancing initiatives that create positive, lasting change.

Outside of work, Reann enjoys volunteering with local nonprofit organizations, particularly community theater companies. She hopes to build a career in philanthropy, where she can help strengthen communities and support causes that make a lasting impact. In her free time, she enjoys trying new foods, exploring local cafés, learning languages, traveling, and listening to music.
