About Lukas
Lukas Kubeja is a recent college graduate who started as the Transportation Fellow for the Clean and Just Transportation Network in 2019.Lukas’ fellowship is through Strategic Energy Innovations’ Climate Corps program though he is housed at the Oregon Environmental Council.
Lukas has experience as a Student Research Assistant supporting Bhawani Venkataraman in curriculum development at Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts where he graduated with a BA in Interdisciplinary Science and Environmental Studies. Prior to this, Lukas worked as Student Lab Assistant supporting the development and implementation of Science, Art, and Design workshops which were important modules in several courses at Parsons School of Design.
Lukas is gaining his first experience working at a non-profit organization. His work is focused on supporting the Clean and Just Transportation Network, a conglomerate of over 35 non-profit organizations throughout the state which advocates for social and environmental transportation justice.
When he’s not working, Lukas enjoys skateboarding, playing guitar, visual art, and vegetable gardening.
