About Eliza

Eliza joined the Oregon Environmental Council as Legislative Director on May 4, 2026. Eliza grew up in Idaho, spending much of their childhood swimming in the Selway and Clearwater Rivers in north-central Idaho, which shaped Eliza’s lifelong passion for the environment.

With a strong background in policy advocacy, lobbying, coalition building, and community organizing, Eliza has worked with a variety of mission-driven and government organizations, including Oregon League of Conservation Voters, Conservation Voters for Idaho, Votes Idaho, the City of Boise, and the Idaho Conservation League.

Beyond her professional work, Eliza enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, biking, and exploring the outdoors.
