About Clara

A lifelong Oregonian, Clara was raised with a deep respect for nature and all living things (by hippies, of course). She feels most at peace deep in the forest foraging for mushrooms, hiking through the hills, or with her hands in the soil growing vegetables. After many years working in food and beverage marketing, Clara entered the nonprofit world and found joy in supporting organizations that aligned with her personal passions, moving from animal welfare to environmental advocacy. 

In our fast paced digital world, Clara believes that effective communications is critical to building a strong movement. She specializes in translating complex concepts into easily digestible media items that meet people where they’re at, ensuring that fighting for our planet is accessible to all. 

Outside of work, you can find Clara spending time with her beloved rescue dogs, Cedar and Junebug, tending to her plants, and eating the spiciest foods she can find.
