Giving Tuesday and $25K Challenge Match
Oregon Environmental Council has relied on the generosity and investment of our members for over 50 years. With you by our side, we’ve made significant progress supporting a healthy and resilient environment through passage of the bottle bill, bike bill, beach bill, and our most recent climate victories. While the long-term impacts COVID-19 remain unknown, it is clear that our world will be changed in many ways, and that our work together will be challenging, but no less important.
Please join us again today by participating in GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity as a response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. GivingTuesdayNow is a specific emergency event designed to harness the generosity of people responding directly to needs caused by COVID-19. During this unusual and challenging time, OEC remains dedicated to advocating for programs that invest in the health and well-being of our communities and environment.
As an organization, we are committed to doing our part to limit impacts on our more vulnerable populations and have taken action on the local, state, and federal level. We have historically participated in the annual GivingTuesday event and are excited to take part in this unprecedented day focused on giving and unity. We encourage you to take part in this special Giving Tuesday event and help us create a healthier future for this state we love.
This is a great time to support OEC, as an anonymous member has graciously offered to match all donations, dollar-for-dollar, up to a total $25,000. Let’s double our donations and continue to invest in healthy air, clean water, and a climate resilient future for all Oregonians. We know times are tough, and we could not be more honored for the support we have had from all of our members. We hope all of you and your families are staying safe and healthy. If you would like to participate in either of these giving opportunities, please visit our donation page . If giving monthly is more appropriate for your budget, consider becoming an Evergreen Member.
