"What should we have for dinner, honey?" is a surprisingly meaningful question. What we eat changes our health, our environment, local economies, and our connection to home. Oregon’s livability is shaped by our food choices.

For Businesses

 The "Vote with Your Fork!" program offers lunchtime presentations to local workplaces to educate eaters about the ripple effects of their food choices. We'll share and discuss:

• simple actions eaters can take to help shape a better, more delicious world
• how to eat sustainably on a budget
• how supporting local farmers benefits Oregon's land use planning system and slows global warming

For Individuals

• Take the "Vote with Your Fork!" online pledge now and become an empowered eater! You have the power to create a better food system. Collectively, our individual food choices significantly impact where and how food is produced, and the kind of food that is available to all of us.

For Community Supported Agriculture Farmers

If there is interest among businesses to purchase CSA shares, and an interested local CSA farmer with available shares, OEC will connect the farmer and the company.  A critical mass of sign-ups mean the company could become a CSA drop-off point for the farmer, providing employees a convenient way to purchase local, sustainably grown food; the company a way to support a local farmer; and the farmer a convenient drop-off point for CSA shares
