Producing Biofuels
With state and federal economic incentives for production, biofuels represent an economic growth opportunity for Oregon. In 2005, OEC outlined these opportunities in partnership with the Oregon Business Association and conducted a survey of 152 biofuels stakeholders around the state. The Northwest biofuels industry has matured to
the point that a formal trade association, the Northwest Biofuels Association, now represents the
business interests of industry participants.
OEC has organized Biodiesel on the Farm workshops around the state, involving farmers, ranchers and other interested citizens. Click here for presentations from a couple of those workshops.
