Cutting Carbs: A workshop for transportation professionals looking to cut some greenhouse gas emissions

On Wednesday, December 3rd, the Oregon Environmental Council will host a workshop for transportation professionals. The goal: to build knowledge and skills for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the transportation system.

On December 3, 2008, the Oregon Environmental Council presented "Cutting Carbs – a Professional Development Workshop for Transportation Professionals on Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions." OEC’s goal was to enable planners, engineers, project managers and others to combat climate change within their spheres of influence.

With more than 150 transportation professionals in attendance, the workshop was a great success.

See many of the speaker presentations below, and if you'd like to view the morning presentations, just email us for a DVD copy.

Look for additional highlights by early January.

We thank our event organizer (Jon Makler), our speakers and moderators, our facilitator, and our event sponsors and event supporters (see logos below). Without them, this workshop would not have been possible.
