The goal: To build knowledge and skills
for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the transportation system.
Topics will include
1) How climate change and transportation legislation in Salem, Olympia, and Washington, D.C. could impact the work of planners, engineers and project managers who have a day-to-day influence on transportation plans and projects
2) What tools can be used to measure or estimate GHGs from transportation projects
3) Which strategies can make the most cost-effective dent in GHGs.
