OEC's first ever blog post

Hi there, and thanks for dropping by.

Hi there, and thanks for dropping by. We're going to get a great discussion going here over the next couple of days, months, and hopefully, years. But right now you're reading this because we just launched our new site. Pretty fancy, eh? Since I worked so hard on this thing, I thought I'd cheat a little and put my name down as the first ever blogger for OEC in its 40 year history. Not especially impressive when you consider some of the things this organization has accomplished, or some of the great people that have made us what we are today, or even where we're going. But still, in that context, it's a small part of something I'm really proud of. So now it's your turn...you can be the first ever responder to an OEC blog post. Let's get the conversation going!

best,

-Jeremy Graybill

Jeremy,

Your site redesign and the new blog look great. I stumbled upon both (quickly) during a Google search about composting and Portland.

Coming from one of my fave reporters that means a lot! If anyone out there hasn't checked it out already, dig Shelby's excellent blog at the Oregonian, PDX Green: blog.oregonlive.com/pdxgreen
